The last number given is 418473 - I think with a v at front, although it's a bit hard to make out


Any suggestions ?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi i have a ford and the needed to have the battery changed but it was bought second hand and the previous owner didn't give the code. Please would anyone be able to tell me the code if my serial number is M083900. Thanks in advance as this is a great site

M083900 code is 3725

Hi please help I have a Focus mk2 titanium with sony 6CD serial no V004821 been stitched my head unit stopped working so bought this off ebay asked if supplied with code and was told it was, received it and no code been chasing the seller for days and now says cant find it if someone can help me out would be greatly appreciated only other option is to strip both units and repair mine with parts from the new one.

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number ( and you have checked the small database at the top /1st message of this Forum ) then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
