If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number ( and you have checked the small free database at the top /1st message of this Forum ) then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

can anyone help please?
I have a ford focus reg Y594 YOH and cannot get the radio out to get the serial number.......it's driving me nuts!!! I have tried the method of pressing 1 and 6 at the same time but it does not show me a serial number with a letter at the beginning...the longest number it shows is 50700012.
It is a 60000 and was working fine until the battery died on me, now I have replaced the battery but cannot get the radio working without the code and I think someone must have broke something inside as the radio keys will not go in on one side.

Sorry....the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard so that you can read the Serial Number printed on the label on the metal casing
