Good afternoon - need to put my code in for the radio after taking it to the garage but the code on the card (0896) doesnt work. The serial number stated on the card is M126697 - I presume this is the serial number for the radio? Is anyone able to tell me what the code should be? Any help appreciated.

0896 is the correct code for M126697.......but make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
