Thanks for this, although think I may have got serial number wrong. The display comes up with the following:

06 02 06
CD KW 8
30 11 2005
05 01 02
ALIGN
SWP 16561
SWP...... etc. Any ideas on code?!

None of those are the Serial Number

The radio will have to be removed from the dashboard

I require my radio PIN code but further to doing '6...1' trick, my serial code is reading what looks like S10_66D5 or at least that's my uninitiated interpretation, which doesn't look like the correct format.

Can any kind lady or gent please advise?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

Sorry-----Your code is NOT in the small, free database

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

(You have to beware of dodgy Russian / Romanian sites offering cheap codes !)
