Hi,

I have a Ford Ka with a 6000CD RDS E-O-N radio. It had the battery replaced today and so the radio is now asking for a code. I've looked it up online and attempted to put in my serial number but the code I get given isn't accepted.

When I press 1&6 the outputs I get are these

1)50702201
2)DP MV SH
3)81-10-00

I assumed the last one was my serial number however it would appear if it is then the code I got for it was wrong.

Would anyone be able to either give me the code for this radio or guide me in the right direction please?

It looks as though the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
