Ford 6000 CD Radio Code

I input the code but wasn't aware you had to press button 5 after input. I have since tried several times again and it will not allow me to input the code? The screen is as should be with flashing digits and still showing 01 as far as attempts but when I press any button never mind button 1 nothing happens? Can somebody please help!

Try leaving the radio switched on (without interruption) until the display shows CODE - - - -


Ford Code Entry Instructions for most Ford radios

Once the unit has been turned on the display will show ' CODE - - - -'

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit

To save/store the code press the [ 5 ] key ....................... or sometimes it is [6] or [>]

The set should now operate.

Is it CODE - - - -

or something else ?

Sorry-----Your code is NOT in the small, free database

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
