472110 = 1988

thanks dave. on the radio ive taken out is the serial number B6H00VC4F1DE
would you know its code?

I honestly have never posted before! I just searched the forum and it seems that someone else has the same serial number with one digit missing and you guys have given all the code options (thank you), but I’m worried I’ll lock it if one of the first 10 doesn’t work. Can anyone advise on how I can find out what the full serial number is/why there is one digit missing? Thanks!

I do not recognise those numbers

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER founder on a label on the casing

Z Serial Number radios do not normally required a code as they are VIN coded.

If it being put into another car then this is a job for a Radio Decoding Service to reload the new VIN
