Hi, I've fitted a new battery and it now asks for my key code for the stereo. The codes I've been given with the manual are coming up incorrect. When I press buttons 1& 6 the only number close to a serial number is 820208 but doesn't have a letter in front of it. No m or becomes up before a code. Any idea?

If it does not display an M or V then it is unlikely to be the correct Serial Number
M820208 code is 1871 ... try once only
Otherwise the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard to read the Serial Number printed in the label.

I need a radio code for my radio please if anybody can help it’s driving me insane now and I refuse to pay for a radio code from Ford for my own stereo! Serial No. M292771
6000 CD RDS E-O-N in my Ford Focus.
