Ford Code Entry Instructions for most Ford radios

Once the unit has been turned on the display will show ' CODE - - - -'

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit

To save/store the code press the [ 5 ] button

(note : sometimes it is the [ 6 ] or [< ] or [>] button that stores the code)

The set should now operate.

8869 has been checked and is definitely the correct code for M543127

Where did you find the Serial Number M543127 ?

Any number found in car documents or other paperwork is often incorrect

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hello just had a battery changed on our Ford Fiesta cd6000 got the serial number of M122452 as we can’t find the original paperwork, can somebody help with the code please? Thanks

just tried it now , looks like I have to wait 30 mins with the radio on then hopefully enter the code .
