The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi, trying to help a friend, his 6000cd now says locked as kids played with it. Any way to restore it to show code? And get a code for it?
And the serial is V021341
ATM we are leaving the car without battery for a night maybe it resets and asks for a code

if its on locked 10 try holding button 6 down switch radio on and keep button 6 pressed down for about 10 seconds and hopefully it will give another chance to put code in but at locked 13 you will need a decoding service to unlock it

the code for your serial is 0414

It only says locked.
