hello I just bought a ford Mondeo with a 6000 CD radio with serial number C992877, the battery had been changed locking the system, could anyone generate the code please, it would be much appreciated

c992877 code is 0321

if a 3 digit code = 421

I tried this code and it never worked? I dont know whether the serial number is correct but I got it of the outside of the system as the serial number never showed when I held down the 6 and 1 buttons?

That means you have most likely quoted the wrong Serial Number

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321 (but some of the older Ford radios had serial Numbers beginning with Cxxxxxx)

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi I'm in need of code just bought my first transit and it says locked think the serial number is vlr698983/ or there is vo77862 unsure which one is needed also fdv2007 thanks for any help

can anyone help me unlock my radio for a Ford Fiesta ?

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
