ford radio unlock code

Hi Guys, can anyone help, battery on my transit died so had to replace the battery and I do not have the unlock code for the radio. the serial number on the unit is V001449. Ford want £30 and I think this is a cheek, if anyone can help I would be very grateful. If redrooster reads this then you are the man, thank you in anticipation.

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES
If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
