Hi I've got a focus with a 6000 cd fitted. New battery today and no code aaaaargh. Can anyone help please? Serial number of the unit is v061704 this was found by holding button 6 and 1 which I think is correct from reading other posts??? Thanks

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

Thanks for that I'm not sure if it is actually a v code it's just that what comes up when I press 1 and 6 and not an m code anywhere. Am I doing the wrong thing to get the serial number in the first place? The digits on the first screen are 070019 but no m the last screen on the scroll through has the v061704 .. As you can perhaps gather I don't really know what I'm doing..

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
