Hi, sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place.

I have a Ford Mondeo with a Sony radio/cd. The battery was disconected during a service yesterday and now I need to enter a code to get the radio working. I pressed buttons 1 & 6 together and the following information displayed:

HLA 17/Jan/06-0
SW 6. 1. 7
CD SW 01. 01. 9B
Bezel SW 1. 1
ACU CFG 830238
Boot 01. 0B. 03

I am not sure which, if any, is the serial number that I would then use to get the radio code.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
