M262478 code is 7690
or
FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES
If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
A recommended cheap and reliable place is here
www.ukbookshelf.co.uk/fordv
Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Depends on how many wrong codes were entered.
A normal reset after a couple of wrong codes is to leave it switched on without interruption for an hour or two.
What does the display show?
LOCKED
LOCK10
LOCK13
Something else?

If your quoted Serial Number C830238 is correct then the three digit code is 594 or the four digit code is 3484

Unfortunately LOCK13 means 13 or more wrong codes have been entered previously.
This can only be reset by a Radio Decoding Service
