Ford 6000 CD unlock help

I have tried to find the Radio code using the 6 + 1 method as another forum member the numer that looked most like a serial number was V005461 nothing with M came up, I have all the user manuals service history and docs and cant find the code. any help would be greatly appreciated, never though my wife and I would miss the radio so much!

Being a V code do I need to contact Ford?

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES
If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
A recommended cheap and reliable place is here

Can anyone help please...i had to have a new battery fitted and now my stereo wont work unless i enter a code..though i have all manuals and everything i can't find the code anywhere..the serial number is M118568

M118568 code is 6241

Please help, new battery in Transit but the log books have been swapped. Serial is V017327. Tnx

Ford were more than happy to give me the code for free.
