To find your radio serial number without removing the radio in a 2005 Fiesta (Radio type 4500 aka Triple Dash 2002-2008?):-
1 Switch on radio
2 Press and hold pre-set button 6
3 Press pre-set button 2
The display will then show the serial number of the set. The Key Code for the radio can then be easily obtained from this forum.
This works even if the radio is locked and requesting a code.
This may work on other Ford radios but have no personal experience

Press buttons 1 and 6
or 2 and 6

Read the display for a Serial Number beginning Mxxxxxx or Vxxxxxx

Otherwise the radio will have to be extracted from the dashboard
