Re: How To Input Your Radio Code
Hi Redrooster,
Thank you very much for giving me that code for my radio.
Unfortunately I get a message back saying 'incorrect '
Am I doing something wrong?
Regards.
Stew.

8213 is definitely the correct code for the Serial Number quoted M026312
Where did you find this Serial Number ?
On the display , on the label or in the car's paperwork?

I do not recognise that Serial Numbertiagosk wrote:I just have this information, how can I get the key?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
Radio removal instructions can be found here..... or search YouTube for a video

Extractors are available on Ebay .... cheap !

If my radio is not blinking and I used the 3 attempts but not 10. what is the next step please?, How to make it blinking againClasskeeper wrote: ie. Ford 2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE followed by three dashes should appear in the display. These three dashes should be flashing.
Enter the three digit code by repeatedly pressing station presets 1-3 until each digit is correctly displayed, followed by preset 4 to accept the code. The unit should then function normally.
If, after switching the radio on, the three dashes do not flash, then 3 or more incorrect code entries have been attempted.
If a number 10 appears in the display, then ten incorrect codes have been tried and the unit will need to be decoded by a car radio servicing specialist.

Leave it switched ON for an hour or more and it should reset itselfMarioA wrote:If my radio is not blinking and I used the 3 attempts but not 10. what is the next step please?, How to make it blinking againClasskeeper wrote: ie. Ford 2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, etc
