Please help

I have a ford focus 58 plate and after disconnecting the battery now need the key code for my 6000CD unit. I pressed 1 & 6 to find my serial number V087735. It seems most others with this problem have a serial number starting with M so I hope this is right. If you could please help it would be appreciated.
