Hi all
I have this type of radio too (4000 RDS) in a Fort Transit Connect 55 plate.
Unfortunately I cannot seem to find the V or M serial number anywhere.
Pressing 1+6 together doesn't seem to help - It just gives me a message saying DPS then an 8 digit number on top, followed by 255 at the bottom.

I have tried to remove the unit to find the code, but again I can't do that with normal tools. Apparently I need these ''radio removal pins'' which I haven't got - Gonna try wilkos or tescos later, just in case. (I've seen them on ebay/amazon, if needed).

Meanwhile, looking at old paperwork from the past, I see an MOT certificate that has the number V106819 displayed somewhere under the Testing organisation and inspector name. Im not entirely sure - Is this the V number mine? Or is it from the MOT centre? (but then, would they have those type of numbers?).

Anyway, I guess the query is, if this V106819 is my number, please could you give me the code?

Otherwise I'll keep trying to remove the unit, in order to be absolutely sure.

It didn't work, it confirmed my suspicions that the V number seen in the MOT was irrelevant to my vehicle.

So just managed to pull the unit out, using the metal pins from coat hangers (as seen in another youtube video).

So my serial no is M207693

please could you help me with the code for this?
