Code not working?

Ive tried my radio code for my 05/06 ford focus the serial number is m083988 and it says key code is 9557 but this is showing as incorrect when entered.
Unit type is fdc200.
Any idea why this would not work.

9577 is correct for the Serial Number
m083988 quoted.
Make sure m083988 is correct
It will be the one printed on the label on the metal casing

Thanks, it turned out the radio had been changed and yherefore the old code inside the glovebox was useless. Code was on the cage of the radio so all good! Thanks again.
