Code Entry problem

Hi all,
Problem..... having obtained code using the generator I cannot enter it on the radio!
First digit is displayed ok using preset button 1 but then nothing happens when pressing presets 2, 3 or 4 for the remaining digits!!
Any help would be appreciated....... what am I doing wrong???
