Hi..this is a great site to get these old Ford units up and running again..!

I have a '91 Scorpio Granada 24v missing the standard fit Ford Sound 2000 audio Radio Cassette (2008) and CD Player (2028).....however I have since managed to locate and purchase both units...BUT minus the dreaded Keycodes ..... hence help required! Details as follows....

Radio Cassette
Sound 2000 Model 2008 .... 91AB-18K876-AA..... Ser.No. CO15059 (FD 2008 N CO15059)

CD Player
Sound 2000 Model 2028 .... 89GB-19B160-AA..... Ser.No. 0036761 (FD 2028 N 0036761)

Any help greatly appreciated.....

Sound 2000 Model 2008 .... 91AB-18K876-AA..... Ser.No. CO15059 (FD 2008 N CO15059)..try code 4055 ( four digit) or 955 (three digit)
CD Player
Sound 2000 Model 2028 .... 89GB-19B160-AA..... Ser.No. 0036761 (FD 2028 N 0036761)..This is a SONY unit and the code is not available for free. It will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to be decoded

Thanks for the Radio Cassette one - I will certainly try this code - 3 or 4 digit...
Regarding the Ford "Sony " unit....do you mean that I have to physically send the unit to somebody....or just pay for the Keycode off a web-based Radio Unlock Code service provider?

The SONY will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Workshop

Try a Google search with" RADIO DECODING SERVICE" plus the name of the town or area you live
