Ford 2040 CD Player

Hello,
This is a great site, thanks to all.
Is it possible to generate codes for the 2040 CD player?
Serial number is 0036341
I did include a request for this in a thank you post in the Ford M generator section.
I have now thought that it might be in the wrong section so am putting it here.

These old Sony codes are difficult to obtain.
Try emailing
restoredclassic@aol.com
Mention this Forum
otherwise it will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to be decoded...so won't be free

I did send an email Thursday evening having read here that it is worth trying, but I have not had a reply (yet)
