Hi all,

My wife's car lost her battery and also the code for the radio.

Its a 6000 CD on a focus 1.6 LX

I have obtained the serial number using the button 1 and 6 - the first screen showed a number of 07 00 17 - I typed this into the number generator to get 9925 but it was incorrect.

Am i dont this right, its a Vista laptop and i tried to find the root of the program to drop the dll. file into without luck....

I just need the code so if you get a different number please could you send it to me ......

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi thanks for the reply. I cannot get the car stereo out of the dash at the minute and when i hold down 1 and 6 i get a raft of numbers but none of them start with M or V..... 6 and 2 displays nothing..... I will try to get the serial number and come back on here with it. (or hopefully use the generator)

The Model is Single CD KW2000
Serial number: V141544

I hope you can help guys the wife is fed up with silence.................

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
