Ford Fiesta 06 plate F6000 Radio Code

Hi people, new here.

Ok this question ( hopefully has been answered before ) im trying to get either the V or M code from the wife's CD Radio. I've done the numbers bit holding 1 and 6 keeping the number 1 down, but im not getting anything that even resembles a serial number. Hopefully somebody can shed some light on this for me.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Many thanks Redrooster, I will try the 6 & 2 option first, failing that I think its a case of taking the unit out. I will get back to you as soon as.

Ok....so I've tried the 6 & 2 combination...nothing. I've also tried the 6 & 1 combination again...all it gives me is various numbers ( maybe the date setting, the letters F1 , F 2 , and so on ). From this, I think my only option is to remove the unit unfortunately.

Finally ...got the unit out, M009066 is the serial number. Any chance of a code ? Thanks
