Hi
Changed the battery in a Ford Focus 2006 with the 6000CD unit. Tried to enter the CODE which came with the AUDIO guide but the '4' button doesn't work - great!
I assume I'm stuffed and will have to buy a new unit but thought I'd ask just in case you know of a workaround.
Yours gratefully

Ford Code Entry Instructions for most Ford radios
Once the unit has been turned on the display will show ' CODE - - - -'
Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit
To save/store the code press the [ 5 ] key
The set should now operate.
Re: 6000CD button '4' inop. Can't enter code
Hi
Thanks for your reply but the problem is the preset [4] button doesn't seem to work so I can't enter the full code and save with preset [5].
I assume that without being able to enter the 4th digit we'll have to get a new unit but was just holding a tiny hope that someone might have a workaround.
Have seen these units on e-Bay for as little as £25 with code so not a disaster, just frustrating when we have the code but can't enter it.
No worries
Thanks anyway
Andy
